2012 Toad Hollow Erik's the Red

2012 Toad Hollow Erik's the Red

Our 2012 Toad Hollow Erik's the Red is named for the famous Norseman-sailor-conqueror, Erik the Red, as well as our very own General Manager, Erik Thorson!  Aromas of dark berries and rose petals with spicy notes of cardamom lead to flavors of blackberries and black cherry with notes of cola.  The palate is juicy and plush with robust fruit.  Wow!

2014 Toad Hollow Cabernet Sauvignon blk

2014 Toad Hollow Cabernet Sauvignon blk

The softer, fragrant qualities of our Lodi Cabernet are often attributed to the region's relatively dry, moderate Mediterranean climate. A delicate scent of cedar and white pepper seamlessly mingle with dark chocolate aromas. Like red velveteen the sumptuous color of this wine is a hint of the gorgeous sweet black cherry and Santa Rosa plum flavors it flaunts. Dark chocolate and earthy notes along with just a hint of spice linger on your palate. American and French oak lend a soft spice to the finished wine.

2015 Toad Hollow Merlot 12/750

2015 Toad Hollow Merlot 12/750

Always one of our most beloved varieties, the 2015 Merlot is a showoff!  It has all of the characteristics our Merlot fans enjoy but with twice the appeal.  Because of a very warm harvest and light yield all of the flavors were concentrated in fewer berries developing into a very lush wine. Pairs well with feasts of smoked or barbecued meats and fowl. Forest floor richness with brambly blueberry and violet aromas mingle with a whisper of smokiness in the nose.  A plush texture with a dark fruit mid-palate, then a pop of pomegranate and cranberry fruit finish vibrantly.
